Econav:
a turning point in US-guided interventional radiology
Econav is a navigation system that enhances ultrasound-guided interventional procedures. Econav allows the fusion of real-time ultrasound images with preoperative CT or MRI images and creates a multimodal navigation environment, which increases the amount of information available to physicians. They can continuously visualise the position of the tip of the needle, regardless of the position of the transducer, and plan the insertion trajectory in advance. This results in higher accuracy and efficacy, especially when anatomical structures are deep or hard to reach under ultrasound guidance only.
APPLICATIONS
Econav can be used for biopsies, lithotripsies, injection therapies and other percutaneous procedures in different medical specialties.
