Medical navigation: surgery and interventional radiology are moving forward
Our navigation systems provide specialists with useful guidance while performing interventional and surgical procedures. They display and track the real-time position of instruments and anatomical structures, by processing different types of medical images. Specialists can easily choose the optimal interventional approach and operate with more efficacy, less risk and less invasiveness in comparison with traditional methods.
WHY CHOOSE OUR NAVIGATION SYSTEMS?
Developed in collaboration with physicians and experts in the engineering field, they are:
ACCURATE
VERSATILE
EASY-TO-USE
INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY
Virtual navigation makes CT, MRI and ultrasound-guided interventional procedures faster and safer. Our Sirio and Econav systems give useful support in diagnosis and treatment when performing a wide range of procedures, such as biopsies, thermal ablations, cryoablations, spinal treatments, joint injections.
SURGERY
Our surgical navigation systems process different types of medical images to enable more accurate, less invasive procedures, facilitating patients’ post-operative recovery. Orion features specific modules which support neurosurgical, ENT, and spinal procedures; Atlas facilitates fixation of lateral fractures of the proximal femur.
EDUCATION AND PREOPERATIVE PLANNING
Vega is the ideal system for doctors and students to examine medical images in three dimensions for education and preoperative planning. It allows detailed exploration of anatomical volumes, for example to highlight tissues, study organs and diseases, define trajectories to the target points, optionally in virtual and mixed reality.
