Masmec Biomed is carrying out a living lab project named Lapis with San Pio Hospital, end user of the device that has been developed, and ISBEM, scientific partner.

The aim is creating a navigation system for minimally-invasive surgery, for the hepatic area in particular, based on advanced techniques of image processing and virtual reality.

Lapis project is co-financed by Regione Puglia.
